WEALTH - Week of Experiential and Authentic Learning Together

WEALTH (Week of Experiential and Authentic Learning Together) is our school's signature experiential learning programme. We aim to nurture students who are confident thinkers, collaborative leaders, and purposeful contributors to the community by building 21st Century Competencies, particularly critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and civic literacy, alongside values of empathy, resilience, and service. WEALTH develops students holistically through a progressive developmental approach where students first build personal foundations, then strengthen interpersonal leadership, before taking greater ownership through team leadership and authentic service experiences. These experiences directly support our desired student outcomes of nurturing Thinkers who solve real-world problems with creativity and rigour, Leaders who build connections and lead with empathy, and Advocates who demonstrate strong civic consciousness and actively improve the lives of others.

Key Programmes

Life Skills Workshops

Students develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, and personal effectiveness through Life Skills Workshops that progress across Secondary 1 to 3. In Secondary 1, students build personal foundations by exploring their strengths, emotions, and values, and develop practical academic readiness skills. In Secondary 2, students deepen their self-regulation and interpersonal skills, applying structured communication and collaborative problem-solving in real contexts. By Secondary 3, students focus on growth mindset development, communication confidence, and advanced self-development planning to prepare for greater leadership responsibilities. Values of resilience, empathy, and personal responsibility are woven throughout all levels.

Leadership Workshops

Students develop leadership competencies and civic literacy through Leadership Workshops that spiral progressively from Personal Leadership and Community Awareness in Secondary 1, to Interpersonal Leadership and Collaboration in Secondary 2, and Team Leadership and Project Management in Secondary 3. Each level builds on the previous, equipping students with increasingly sophisticated skills in ethical decision-making, conflict management, and purposeful community contribution. Values pertinent to service-learning and community leadership, particularly empathy and service, are emphasised across all levels.

STEM and Experiential Activities

Students engage in hands-on STEM and creative experiential activities that develop critical thinking, innovation, and collaborative problem-solving in authentic contexts. These activities, which include Water Rocket challenges, STEM Workshops, and creative performance-based experiences, provide students with opportunities to apply knowledge across disciplines, test ideas, and refine their thinking in real-world settings.
