Explore the key activities that shape students at each year level, from building resilience in Secondary One to graduating future-ready in Secondary Four.
Secondary One
The GYSS journey starts with laying of the foundation. Our students identify their purpose in secondary school and develop a grounded understanding of the principles that will guide them and their sense of duty. Through the Orientation Camp and our Adventure Camp, they develop their resilience, which will enable them to be steadfast in all that they do.

Secondary Two
The focus now shifts to exploring themselves relative to the environment. Exposed to various areas that they might be interested in through Sports Enrichment, Career Talks, Leadership Workshops, and the Bishan Heritage Trail, they chart out their unique direction in Upper Secondary.

Secondary Three
Our students learn how to learn for life and develop their ability to tackle unknown challenges. Through Outward Bound Singapore, Job Shadowing, and Applied Learning Modules, they are brought into the real world and stretched there. Our WINGS Programme takes them overseas for cross-cultural learning, where they learn to look beyond Singapore, to the world.

Secondary Four
As the seniors of the school, our Sec 4 students role model excellence for their juniors. Capping their Guangyang experience with our signature GRIT Walk, alongside professional skills training and etiquette workshops, they prepare to graduate confident and future-ready, buckling down to excel in their Secondary Education Certificate (SEC) examinations.
